Today the Sistas are discussing “Problems in the Pew”. Are there things that make it hard for you to attend your congregation?

As Christians are we doing our part at church to create peaceful pews?

The Sistas are participating in National Back to Church Sunday a community outreach with the message of inviting America back to Church.

I love the idea of a back to church Sunday program. When we pass Wal-Mart on the way home from church we see a parking lot full of cars. Church attendance is done and the Sabbath Day is not a sacred day anymore.
It just amazes me that there are problems with the pews. When we first moved into our ward we took a back row bench and there was an older couple that usually sat there. We didn’t have a clue on this. After a few weeks she came by to tell me how upset she was that we were sitting in their pew. She is an elderly sister and I felt so bad that I had caused her any emotional struggles. Keep up your good works and blessings to you both.

My husband has been bishop of a singles ward for the last four and a half year. This weekend we are getting released. We have loved sitting in the pews in our “adopted” ward, but we will be happy to get back to our “old” family ward again.

    =)
